Cat Personality Traits and Physical traits by Breed or Mix Breed

Every cat has their own personality. But depending on their breed they are prone to have certain personality traits. Although we know that certain personality traits will be present for a particular breed, the personality of a cat is altered during the first few months of life. Listed below are different breeds and possible personality traits. This can be used as a guideline but does not mean the cat will have all these personality traits.

The personality traits of a siamese mix are listed below as well as possible physical traits:

- Loves people
- Smart
- Very Affectionate
- Very Vocal/Talkative (loud meowing)
- Ability to open doors and drawers
- Unique fur color patterns
- Body is slender and long generally

Note: When Lucky was a kitten he had big ears, big paws, and an arched back like Siamese do. Later on he grew into it all.

The personality traits of a Calico or American Shorthair are listed below as well as physical traits:

- Sensitive Nature
- Adaptable to change
- Do not like to be picked up
- Will greet you at the door
- Follow you from room to room
- Loves to lay in your lap (especially at night)
- Big round expressive eyes
- Short fur with more than eighty different colors and patterns

The personality traits of a Tabby or Persian are listed below as well as physical traits:

- Very Sweet and affectionate
- Quiet for the most part
- Creatures of habit
- Calm and easy going
- Never demanding but playful
- Stocky body with long fur
- Round head with a short nose
- Coat color and patterns vary
